Weaving through Insa-dong (인사동) after laughing ourselves silly in some princess Hanbok (those traditional Korean dress) in the Bukchon Hanok Village (북촌한옥마을) earlier that morning. Insa-dong is part overly-touristy with the most cliche and unfashionable souvenirs, part artsy with galleries and the many little vendors selling their own handmade items, part very un-touristy with unpretentious shops selling common essentials etc. It's just unlike the other parts of Seoul by being... very Insa-dong. Victoria marked it as her favourite destination of Seoul this time around while I remembered it as the place where I chanced upon a bell booth and brought back a bell keyring with such a crisp and clear ring. It was 'love at first ring'.

Hi Fenny! Yup i've been to KL but as of what i experienced, it's pretty much of just large malls with common international chained labels & fast-fashion labels. there's some smaller malls with local retailers but nth to rave about. I'd say just go for some rest & relaxatiion, try the local food etc than making it a shopping trip :) nice to hear from someone from across the globe! where're you from!
Thanks! That sounds very nice! I'm from The Netherlands but do have some asian roots (Indonesian). I have heard from people that in KL there are very good large shopping malls. Are there also smaller local markets? I like that as well :-)

I see!! I've never been to the netherlands so i do not know hows the shopping scene over there but as of comparing to Singapore & hongkong/other cities of Asia, KL offerings are pretty limited and are less fashion forward :( so usually when friends of mine head to KL, they'd rather do other things more unique to KL than to shop! :)
