A Toast To Exchange Friendships

I realized that a part of my exchange life I've mentioned little over here on this space's the times with the other exchange mates on exchange at HK CityU. It is certainly not that those times are any less significant or memorable but more of cause they're mostly on-campus/spontaneous meet ups on school days and parties at night~, when I don't have my camera carried along. (iPhone camera comes handy so more daily happenings over on my Instagram) So yes, I've forged awesome new friendships with people coming from all over the world and am especially thankful to have found the bunch I've gotten closest to! While I've got my own friends and relatives and companions over here in Hong Kong, they've got their daily work/school life and can't be as spontaneous and as adventurous as the exchange mates who are always up for just about anything. They bring out the Hong Kong tourist in me! which has also led me to the hike I set out for together with 3 of them pals - Tina & Tim from San Fransico, Kevin from Korea. That spectacular view... more on that in the next post while I'm off to rest for a really-need-to-study-for-the-upcoming-test tomorrow. To the precious bunch, Thank You! for always counting me in, taking the effort to invite me, making me feel welcome to the activities you guys have in line though I'm the only one who isn't residing on campus. & of course I can never never never get enough of listening to all the first-hand stories about life and living in all the different countries, something I really really really love and enjoy.

haha, thank you!! anyway where would you recommend to go in hk if i go there for travel? like for scenery, food and shopping places!! was thinking of going there for 4d3n, do you think it's enough if i wanna go dragon's back for hiking too? hahaha.

hmmm everything from places to f&b and activities are so FULL of varieties in hk i don't even think 4months 3weeks' enough hahaha!! but no srsly it's a lovely country of diversity in all areas so it's really hard to recommend without know you personally. for eg some may wna explore the urban while some prefer laid back places, cheap vs premium vs unique shopping, local vs the international cuisines that are just as good so on and on~ do google specifically to your interest & you'll be able to find lots and lots of reviews!! so sorry if i'm of terrible help but i hope you understand that there's too much such that i'm afraid i'll not be able provide the best recommendations for your 4d3n trip :( feel free to ask me about places you've seen me blog/instagram abt though if any of them are to your interest :)

Oh no I'm the last person you'd like to ask regarding tst cause it's THE one area on many ppl's to-go but is leasttt to my liking so I do not visit there much :/ not that it's not great but just not to my preference so sorry! Hmm but if you're arriving 6am + all the airport & check in stuff I guess things will be already opening! :) as for cafes, refer to my reply above & check out openrice.com (a highly active f&b social site used by everyone here that I believe will be of much help!) ^^ thanks!
